HARRISBURG, PA (August 22, 2022) — On behalf of 700,000 working men and women in Pennsylvania, represented by 51 International Unions and 1,422 Locals, the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO Executive Council endorsed 178 candidates in the Pennsylvania 2022 General Election.
“These endorsements represent a meaningful affirmation of each candidate’s values and recognize that they care about Pennsylvania’s working families,” said Angela Ferritto, President, PA AFL-CIO. “We encourage voters to get to know our endorsed candidates and the issues our members care about — better pay and benefits, secure retirements, gender equality, workplace health and safety, high quality public education, and civil rights, among others.
